fitment issue

Rear 18 x 10.5 / 54mm and front 17 x 9.5 / 56mm am i going to need to do any mods to fit the rears on a 2000 ta

Most likely not. Stick with a 295/35ZR18 rear tire. The only thing that MAY come up on the rear is some very minor inner wheel well massaging.
