International Members - Australia? Vacation Ideas

I didn't know where to post this, but I guess this is my best place to put it. On march 1st I get my vacation and have been thinking about using my tax return to go to Australia. Has anybody been there? Know any travel agents I can get a good deal on a ticket thru? I really want to rent a car for a week or so and drive all over the countryside. I also really want to check out the semi trucks known as road trains. Who knows maybe even try to get a job driving them.
