Checking oil pressure with an aftermarket gauge. Ok I've been checking around and after reading about my issue I have decided to change my OPSU. I've read in nearly every post to check the oil pressure with another gauge to verify the true pressure. Although it says to do this it doesn't say how. I apologize for such a stupid question but how do you check the oil pressure with another gauge!

You would have two way of putting a aftermarket gauge on..
1) Drill and Tap into the plate above the Oil Filter and attach your sender there.
2) Replace you stock Oil sender (back of the block behind the Intake manifold with the aftermarket sender (you will lose your dash oil gauge, should still run ok.)
Option #1 would be the easier for you.. trying to get to and replace the stock sender is not an easy task.. and you would be able to have both the stock and aftermarket gauge. If you don't want to keep the extra gauge after you have check it. you can alway plug it.
Maybe a good time to add a set of aftermarket gauge (Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Volts, etc)
