Default Those with the Patriot 226/226 cam....

How's everyone's luck so far? Mine sucks, simple as that. I finally managed to get a street tune with HP Tuners but it didn't help the dead spot in my low end at all. It feels like the car bogs down until it hits 3500 RPMS then starts picking up hard. What's the deal with this low end loss of neck breaking torque? My stock cam pulled better than this thing. Anyone got a dyno sheet on this one yet? I'd like to see the torque curve on paper to see what it looks like.

What's the DCR like? I'm willing to bet it's not where it should be for optimum low end power.

I had a local guy do it for me, I'm going to try getting a dyno tune at intune motorsports sometime soon. How do I check the DCR? I didn't even ask him any details about the tune, it does run better than before but my low end is pathetic. Thanks for all the help!

A/F ratio? did you degree your cam? its not the cam, its your tune more than likley. it should have good power under the curve.

I didn't degree it, I just aligned the dots straight up. That's what I'm thinking too, up top it pulls hard as hell but the low end just isn't there. I'll get this car dyno tuned down at Intune and see what happens.

A4 and no stall, T-56 is going in this year so I didn't fool with it. It's doing this even from a roll so I know it's not the converter. Somtimes I can get on the throttle and it just bogs down and doesn't pull at all, other times it jerks and slowly starts to pick up. Now if I go WOT it pulls like a SOB and runs strong, it's just cruising around town when I'm barely giving it gas to accelerate that it does this. Even on the interstate at 70 mph if I slowly give it gas it'll take forever to pick up but once it gets to about 3500 RPMs it flat out pulls solid. Beats me, must be in the tune. I'll try a good Dyno session and see what happens.
