i use a mixture of simple green and water to clean it up, and use a toothbrush or a paintbrush to get hard to reach areas

Some people like to spary an engine down with a hose and stuff. But me personally I always go the handheld way as in toothbrushes and stuff like that as said above. Im pretty sure it takes longer probably but it doesnt bother me. I never really liked the idea of opening my hood and spraying the motor down anyways .....

Another vote for CD2. I used to use it all the time on my SS. I loved that stuff, but it's very hard to find around here anymore.

Hey HAWKVERT, where did you get that battery cover? Very nice looking engine bay, just needs the wire mod done.

Its called a throttle cable cover. Got it from MBA Products. They have since gone out of business. I seen a site just the other day that was selling them now. Not sure what the name of the company is though. I will look for it and get back to you. Maybe someone else on here knows?
