A4 bucks alittle in OD ?
well my car goes into OD @46 mph so driving around and you take your foot off the gas say around 50-45 it wants to buck alittle ?
the rpm are really low and i think its doing it is because at 50-40 ish mph it is idleing at or around that speeds?
how can I get rid of that?
thanks.

your fealing that cause the converter is locked at that speed. You can hit the brake for a sec to unlock it and the car should feal smooth till it locks up again which is usually a few seconds..

my experience is that it depends on the converter in the car. Stock converter i couldnt feal any jerking just a lugging engine(engine under load). With the midwest converter i had it would herk and jerk all the time when it locked up but lock up was solid with that converter. Now the fuddle doesnt really jerk around as the clutch thats used in it compaired to stock is tiny and it slips a bit when it locks..

the only time it will unlock when the throttle is released is when the speed of the car goes 5 or so mph below the lock up speed, it will however unlock the sec you tap the brake, though if your still coasting and going over the lock up speed it will relock the converter.

you could be right about the early models as some of us have 2nd gear start and others dont. All in all it can be tuned the way you want though i dont think its going to fix the bucking problem.

I can feel it disengage @44 mph
but when your driving around 48mph or so you feel it jerk.
now it seam to reason why, my new edge converter I guess it locks up good.
is there anything in the pcm programing I can do to eliminate it?
Thanks guys.

well like i said with my midwest the whole car would jerk pretty hard espically if i just got up to the speed of lock up and let off the throttle.. From what i know with tuning(seems like im one of the top guys helping others out with tuning issues) there is not too much you can do about it. You can change the lock up mph which might help but for me it was just getting use to what the converter does and after time you just know the converter is just holding the clutch nice and tight. You may want to page jimmyblue for some advice, knows his stuff.

Not sure about the LT1 computer tuning, but I was able to tune all this out on my LS1. It could be as simple as raising your lock up and release points, which is what I did. I actually hated my car locking up at such a low rpm anyway. Main contributer to the bucking for me was the bigger cam and low rpm lock up.

my camaro has done the same thing for quite a while and i was a lot worse before i had it tuned ,It still does the same thing now but it is a lot smoother and not as harsh.
I have a tci 3500 and 3.42's and mine does it at about 55.
