Default Pilot Bearing Tool: Kent-Moore J-43276

Has anyone actually used the Kent-Moore tool for removing the pilot bearing that is specified in the service manual? I ordered one, just got it in, and can't figure out how it pulls the bearing other than pushing on the plug in the crankshaft, which seems like a very bad idea. Can anyone who has used it explain how it works?

I just rented 1 from autozone. A slide hammer also works very well. I will have to look and see what the actual tool looks like

Default Pilot Bearing

I just change my clutch, slave, and pilot bearing last week. If I were you I would go and rent the "blind hole puller" from autozone(adavanced does not have them). It is similar to a slide hammer except that it has a smaller fitting to be able to fit easily inside the pilot bearing. It took a total of 5 minutes and the bearing was out. I spent three hours the night before with alternative tools with no luck. The deposit is about $145 dollars but you get everything back when you return it. IMO, I would save the time and try and get a refund on the tool that you bought.
