Default cam + heads

ok so i want to get a extreme cam and some new heads. would the patriots work good for an extreme cam? i'm not planning on spending to much for a set of heads. i want to keep the cam and heads around $2000. are there any good combos that i could get?

Hard to beat the bang for the buck on a set of stock valves ported LS6 heads.

Check TSP. They have the the LS6 2.00 1.55's with upgraded v-train with cam for right around your price range. I think it is a tad less than 2000 actually.

So you want to run a big big cam with a mediocure head? How does that make sense?

As a college student I understand the problem of racing on a budget but whats the point of a huge cam and a head that is cheap and will not flow the nessesary volume and velocity of air?
