Default Third gen shift **** on an ls1?

I just bought a WS6 today and noticed that the automatic shifter and the e-brake handle were both suffering from cracking leather pretty bad. The wheel's ok though, thank God. Would a third gen leather shift **** and e-brake handle work on a fourth gen without me having to modify it at all?

All I can see on ebay is third gen ***** and levers, otherwise I would just get a fourth gen one but oh well, it's not a huge deal.

I was looking for a shift handle for my car on eBay and I saw one that was listed as being from a 3rd gen that looked identical to mine. Maybe check at your local dealer, they might be able to give you an answer (or not). Not sure about the e-brake handle. That shift **** might not be as expensive as you think new. Granted mine is not leather, but Pontiac told me it was $25, pretty reasonable if you ask me.
