Default 806's vs. 243's

I've got some 243's that i've been thinking about putting on my car but i have some questions! First one of the valves are messed up alittle and i was thinking of just throwing ls1 valves in them and calling it a day?
Second, is it worth me taking the time to put them on and make how much more power?
Third, is it worth me porting them and milling them?
My mods are in my sign. I just don't see any Head gains on Trex cars ever posted up.

people are making 300 cfm with home ported 243s with stock valves and I would say hell ya its worth it because the 806 flow away less than a stock 243.

you will atleast pickup 40-50 rwhp if they are good ported ones.

Unported 243 heads won't gain you much more than 10-15 HP. I'm not sure you can put LS1 valves in an LS6 either - I believe the diameter is smaller.
