Is it safe to race with spacers I have some weld wheels on my s10 and I was thinking about putting them on my 1999 camaro is that safe and what size spacers should I use

I had the 1.8 spacers on stock studs for about 6 months until i decided to go ahead and grind the caliper off all the way.I did'nt have any problems, i might have been just lucky.
