Trans-brake switch installed on the 97'…and works good!
Bought a B&M #46003 coiled wire switch, a nice little momentary switch that only allows power while the button is pushed down.
Hot 12V wired through a little fuse mini fuse add-a circuit in the passenger side foot well fuse box.
I brought the 12 gage wire from the TB solenoid up above the tunnel plate (Using long straight wire, taped this wire to it and pulled through to the other side) and through the firewall grommet under the brake booster.
You can just see the TC solenoid sticking out the front of the pan;
I used male/female disconnect terminals so if I want to change to another switch its easy.
No plans to mount it as it works good in my hand with both hands on the wheel……once launched I can just drop it……likes to launch at close to 4K
Nice location to stow it when not in use too
