IF you could find out if you got the upgraded Hurst shifter, that could be a thought and get lil shorter stick, or try a pro 5.0.

Just dont go too short or you will lose your leverage, a friends car has a pro 5.0 and a VERY short stick, i.e. Arcade style, and it makes it harder to shift duw to the awkwardness.

Im another believer in the Hurst shifter + 6.5" stick. Its perfect for driving and for just daily drivin i have the SLP leather wrapped **** from ws6 store cuz my stock **** got nasty. However, if im racin ive got the hurst pistol grip in black and that thing is amazing for bangin gears. Ill try and get some pics tomorrow for you.

I have a Pro 5.0 with the WS6 6" Short Stick, and its a great combo. It doesn't hit the console in any gear, its very precise, and te throw is perfect. Theres also plenty of leverage even with the 6" stick, I can shift 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 4th with nothing more than a slight push with my hand.

I also have Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF in my T56, which helps when its cold, since the fluid maintains its viscocity and doesn't thicken up like conventional fluid.
