Default It's Aliiiiivvvvve!

Well guys, at about 12:40a.m. this morning my Ls6 in my '90 silverado woke up!
I've heard others on here post how easily their carb conversion fired up and idled
and it is true. All my factory guages work and everything seems to be in good
shape. Just wanted to let you guys know. And I know I'll have some later.

Edelbrock performer RPM manifold with a 625 Road Demon per their tech line with my
specs. They said it would handle the Ls6 up in the low 400's hp and have perfect off-idle
and part throttle drivability.

Here are some pics as it sits. I still have some things to change around and I
have to install the LM-1 wideband that came in yesterday but she is drivable
and runs pretty good considering she's not dialed in yet. Maybe I can get a
video up before long.

Congrats! It makes all of the work worth it when you finally get to fire it up for the first time.

Right now I'm running the stock pump with a custom return system. I am going
to do a new system this summer.

Interesting idea on the cylinder head coolant tube.

Swap looks pretty clean. I do not like the air filter, a nice k&N with the top filter part would look wicked in there.

Congrats!

Yeah, thats what they run and it's good if you're gonna run a carb, but for fuel
inj. you'll have to go with a higher output pump.
