Default Update on "ICE" check this out....

ne one remember the whole ice thing...

well i used this stuff once or twice, but then i wanted to try something different, so the bottle of ice just sat in my shelf, the shelf was dark so no light got to it, and it was in there for a little under a year...NEWAYS check out what happend to this stuff








i was doing some cleaning and saw this, im amazed...imagine this on ur paint? i bet after a while if u add enough it will probably turn ur clear coat yellow-ish it looks like pee

just though y'all should know this about the product so yall stop using it, or so yall dont use it at all.

and if this has been said already, sorry!

mine didn't turn yellow. Although i dont use it anymore because it collects to much dust.

Wow, weird. I bought some a while ago due to all the raves it got (apparently not so much for the lighter colored cars though) ...it's sitting on the shelf in my basement, I wonder if the same happened. Didn't like it anyways but definitely good to have the warning!

I used it on my mother's 04 Maxima and it oxidized the faux chrome trim on contact. I called Turtle Was (who maked ICE) and they didn't know what to say or do. I had to high speed buff the trim in order to get the shine back and it still didn't go back to how it was pre-ICE. This stuff is pure **** there is no other way to put it. Turtle Wax refunded my $14 purchase price.

For store bought polish I stick to Meguiers or Dura Gloss but on my car I use Zaino.

I had it and used it once or twice, and like said before, it isnt anything special on lighter color cars so i just let it sit, mine hasnt gone yellow, but i dont use it anymore... now all i use is MOC (got it from a friends dealership, that **** is AMAZING!) or meguirs for QD

i use Kit caranuba paste wax.

pure sex!

and if i really want to clean the bitch

ill use mother's cleaner wax

then the Kit paste

then mothers Showtime detailer

but i just tried turtlewax polishing compund and it swirled the **** out of the hood so im gonna try 3M polish compound.
