Default For those of you who have put 98-02 front ends on 93-97 camaros

Did you modify your hood support / light bar or did you buy a new hood brace?

This is the part that I am talking about:

It's all completely different. Dont rig it and get all of the right parts or you will be very unsatisfied.

I have all the parts except that part. I sold mine (from my 94) thinking that I needed to replace it, but looking at it, I think all I had to do is cut off the end pieces where the LS1 Light brackets mount to it.

I can find the 93-97 style easier than the 98-02.

Shipping kills any good price I get on this part.

My local dealer wants 65 for it, PN 10276561. GMPD wants $9.44+$9.95 to ship, so I may just go that route.

Looking at the hood insulator too (PN 10272374) my dealer wants $44. GMPD wants 26.48 but they say they wont ship it due to its size. May have to call SDPC and see how much they want for it.
