I dunno, if you don't want anything to stand out, you may want to get a cover for that bright green battery. That was the first thing I saw when I looked at the pic. My car is NBM and I am going to paint my LS6 intake gun metal grey when I get it to contrast against the rest of the engine compartment. I think gunmetal grey would look good on a red car as well.

Silver would definately stick out, but black really goes with the theme of the car. I think black would be the cleanest/ classiest color. Plus i think that silver and red looks a lil tacky. Also, instead of painting the coil packs, relocate them.

I painted mine silver and love it. But I have a silver theme going with my Maple Red Metallic TA. Silver Trans Am emblems, silver PONTIAC rear fill in, silver rear bird/Trans Am on the filler panel and a Silver UMI STB. For a red car like yours, I would stick with either silver or gloss black.

Silver/Black/Red all would look good. Red matches body, black matches other underhood stuff, silver matches anything and could be used as an exterior color too, red with silver or black overlays, so it would all tie in.
I find it ironic how you thin kred may stick out when it is the color of your body and a ton of stuff under your bay is also red yet you have a bright green battery and purple air filter ?
Paint it green with purple stripes to blend in with those two FTW jk.
Paint it red/black or silver and your will be pleased with whichever you choose, black will be the most subtle, red will match body color and i would match black or silver with an exterior overlay scheme. Get a polished battery cover while your at it Hope this helps!

LOL gawd yall hate my interstate battery. I got that thing for free so I snatched it up and it was brand new still in the plastic. I'll get a battery cover sometime or another but its like I said im more performance oriented than looks for right now. i only happen to be painting the manifold sicne its off already. So far im thinking silver since my scheme for the car would be this. Red car with black roof mirrors and spoiler. im gonna paint the trans am decals TRANS in black and AM in silver. im jsut trying to think of a good color that will tie in well.
