Default Vinyl Removal?

I have one of those SS hood Scoop fills on my car. I would like to remove it. How do I go about this without messing up the paint? Will it be noticeably different underneath compared to the paint on the rest of the car?

Try a heat gun to remove the vinyl, for most of us this would mean a hair dryer Peeling up a vinyl decal shouldn't take any paint along with it. The paint underneath shouldn't be noticeably different, unless you have neglected the rest of the car.

^ agreed the only thing you'll notice is it'll look a little cleaner than the rest because it has been covered

I keep the car very clean and it always has a coat of wax on it. So just take a hair dryer to it and start peeling?

Yup. If the vinyl's heated up sufficiently it should come off in one big piece (or at least several big pieces); if it's cold then it will just rip into a million little pieces.
