There use to be alot of action in santa maria, until police started cracking down everybody..... i got busted myself!!!!... damn 04 cobra!! now im paying for it....anywways, I live in santa maria and i got a couple of buddies who have f-bodies as well, and buddies with mustangs and other fast cars. Where exactly are you staying? My buddies and I are actualy doing a motor swap in my garage right now for my 98 camaro, just pulled out the motor last week.

I am in Buellton just 30 mi south of Santa Maria. My car is under the knife with a new forged short block and single turbo kit with TC76MPS turbo being installed and tuned as we speak.

Yea I moved John. It was a last second thing. Had to quit my job and everything so all mods planned and all money saved for the car had to go towards school and rent/holding me off untill I get a house and a job up at atascadero state hospital. By the way I go to Hancock so if any of you go there let me know. 52172, your car sounds pretty nasty bro. When it gets running I'd def like to check it out. 1fastz if any of you get together soon let me know, I go to santa maria often. I notice there are alot of classics out here, but I dont see very many camaros or stangs.

I'm up in San Luis Obispo, I've seen quite a few F-bodies up here. Just yesterday I was admiring an SS parked at Cal Poly which looked like it had an STS kit just like I want someday....

theres also a blue SS at Poly that has an STS kit on his car. I live in SLO and go to school but the car doesnt every really go on campus.

I go to Poly too and ya Ive seen the STS black SS its pretty sick. There is also a Silver Z28 with C5 rims that I see and a Red WS6 with what I think is a 150 shot. I drive the Red Z28 around campus once every few weeks on campus

Wow, there's a lot of us from Poly on here. I also remember seeing a black or blue Camaro on campus with either "LS1 1LE" or "1LE LS1" as the plate.

I've got a black camaro and used to drive it around on campus all the time, parking is so RIDICULOUS there now that I only ride my harley there.....and they dont check for that parking pass

There are a few meet ups in San Luis Obispo. Most of them are import dominated with the whole "well at least we can handle" vibe and "80s and early 90s Japanese cars hold too much sentimental value for anyone to fathom" thing going on.

www.slocars.net is having a meet up on this coming Wednesday, and they're doing a Road Rallye early in March.

www.ccmw.cc is another local board, but I never posted an intro thread, so my account went bye bye and I haven't kept up with them.

A LS1/F-body/GM Performance meet was attempted once in SLO last year....it'd be cool to try that again...
