Default Wow...learned something new

My swine can go from 60-0 in 117 feet. WOW! I knew my LS1 stopped LOTS faster than my LT1, but wow...not bad!

Nice info!! Just don't try to do it more than once in a row, it won't happen twice! Our calipers can't keep the pressure on after even one hard stop!

Coming from the 3rd gen world, the first time I had to do a panic stop in my first LS1 car I was shocked at how good the brakes were. Granted, they're even better upgraded, but for a stock system in this price range of car it's pretty damn good, IMO.

I wonder what the braking distance is on a F-body with the C5 rotors with Hawk HP+ pads in it.

I think they should make you a sticky with the list of problems and parts replaced on your car. Probably has everyone beat with parts replaced as compared to time you owned the car.

At the bottom of the article where it shows the boxes with all the cars' info it lists the Firehawk as having a 5 speed manual. Not to mention an estimated 20mpg highway lol.
