Default Clutch difficulties

I just got done putting my clutch in and it wont let me put it in gear while the car is on. How ever when the car is off, it lets me go between gears like usual. Any ideas on what the hell is going on?

Its a Spec 3+ on a 1997 Z28.

Did you bleed the system after you were done?

lol that is your problem, above the line from the clutch master cylinder that runs into the trans there is a bleeder valve. Crack it open and have someone step on the pedal and hold it down, then close the valve and pull the pedal up. Then crack it again...repeat steps. Do this til air bubble stop coming out. Keep an eye on the clutch reservior to make sure it doesn't run dry.
