I installed new moser 9" with complete aluminum center section and pinion seal has been leaking. We replaced seal and when looking at pinion yoke it appears to look like cast all the way from u-joint connection to shaft. Shouldn't the shaft be machined? How could a seal hold up on a rough surface like that? Has anyone seen something like this? Could moser have missed a procedure during production? We used some steel wool to try and smooth it out, but still leaks. Called moser and they said to take pictures and send them, guess I will when I Change Gear oil next time :bang:
