Default Starting Problem

this is going on with my 96 tahoe, it turns over easily, but it only starts when i spray starting fluid in the throttle body, after it starts it runs great, i'm gonna pour some sea foam in there tomorrow

Fuel pump more than likely. I have never seen this through the shop before But anything can happen. Check the fuel pressure volume spark and grab a scanner and look at the ect temp at startup. More than likely you have a pump heading south and it is having fuel volume issues.

id have to agree with him^^^...when you put something in there involving that starting fluid that kinda sent the idea towards a fuel issue

i tried seafoam just for the hell of it and i caused a kick *** smoke show, but later on the tahoe stopped working, it may be the fuel pump, but i sent it to the shop, i didn't want to deal with it in this cold weather
