1987 Buick Turbo T, with a t-top roof. It has 120,000 miles on it, and has been well taken care of, garage kept, non smoker. It was painted charcoal metallic in 2001. The paint is great condition, and the car is a real head-turner. The interior is also in good clean condition. The oil has been changed every 3k miles or less. This car is not a race car nor has it seen regular track time, but has run mid 12's in the 1/4mile. The wheels are 17x10" with 285 tires BFG KDWs in the rear, and 17x8.5" with 245 tires BFG KDWs in the front. The tread still looks good. It has a stock sized turbo, stock D5 stall converter, stock intercooler, and stock bottom end.
Here are the modifications: bilstein shocks, airbag in the rr for traction, rear seat brace for rigidity. 3" exhaust through the 3" dynomax mufflers, 3" ATR downpipe, stiffer valve springs, double roller timing chain, chrome up pipe and intercooler pipe, 3" lt1 MAF senser and MAF Translator Plus, 36# fuel injectors and street chip, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Walbro 340 fuel pump, Adjustable waste gate acutator, AVC dash (gnx style with VDO gauges), external transmission cooler, Turbo Saver oil filter relocator. New battery and brakes. Transmission was just serviced. I had the badges removed, the bumpers painted body color, and the rock guard smoothed on the bottom. I may be partial but I think it is the best looking g-body out there.
Here is everything wrong with the car: The a/c doesn't work. The windshield has one long crack (not too bad). The front plastic piece on top of the dash is cracked($90 fix last I checked). The steering wheel should be recovered. It needs a headliner. There is a shallow dent in the driver side rear quarter, that could be unnoticed without pointing it out, and is probably fixable without paint. There is one bad small spot of paint on the bottom of the rear bumper. The windows have started moving slowly but still work due to connection, switch, or motor.
The motor and transmission are original and have never needed to be rebuilt. The car is mechanically sound, and has been a great weekend driver. I daily drove this car for a long time and was alway dependable, and gets 20+ miles per gallon.
