Default QTP headers

I'm getting ready to buy some QTP longtube headers (race style). I know when you buy the race style headers you have to elminate the and EGR. Now my question is do i need to buy a block off plates for the port in the top of the intake manifold where the EGR dumps? Also with these particular headers do i need to buy an 02 sensor extension?

You can use a 1-3/8" adjustable freeze plug from any autoparts store to plug the manifold. You can read more about it (there's even a pic I believe) in the AIR/EGR sticky at the top of this section.

You'll need 2 24" O2 extensions for them.

When you go and get the car tuned, its best for the tuner to delete the rear o2's through the computer.

Since you're deleting the EGR, the SES light is going to come on regardless. You will HAVE to have tuning to get it off, might as well have them turn off the rear O2's as well.
