Default Those with the air/egr delete Q?

When you delete both of them from the car is it a must to put the filter where the oil fill cap is? I'm about to change to headers and the ls6 manifold and figured i'll get ride of it all!!!! but don't want to hurt anything in the process...

You only need the filter on the oil cap if you are deleting the PCV system. EGR and AIR have nothing to do with the PCV.

You can keep AIR with the LS6, but you're going to get coded for EGR untill you tune it out anyway, might as well yank 'em both!

They are correct on not needing the breather setup, that's for !PCV.

PCV stands for "Positive Crankcase Ventilation", and is your evacuation system used to vent pressure build up. It has nothing to do with EGR/AIR. People who run catch cans are adding functionality to their PCV system, so it traps oil in addition to venting pressure.

the filter on the oil cap is only if you delete the PCV system but you could do it anyway
