Default Dressed for Winter... (Pics)

Well I raised the suspension a bit and used some 5/16" spacers on the front to clear the wilwood brake kit so I could put my winter tires/wheels on last week and then gave her a nice coat of Meguires Scratch X because there were so many swirl marks and found that the Scratch X works AMAZING for removing swirls by hand IMO, and then a coat of some NU Finish that I picked up on sale for 5 bucks haha, so I thought I would see how it worked.

Just thought I would post some pics of how she looks when she is dressed for winter...nothin special, but it may never look like this again, being I am puttin the car in storage next week until I get back from Australia at the end of June.

oh, and the wheels are just firebird style wheels from the 93-97 year f-bodies that I repainted black instead of the grey that looked ugly. I paid like $25 for the wheels so they don't look all that bad for how cheap they were

I am already itchin to get the ZR1's and 275's back on, but those summer tires sure are meant strictly for summer

Temps for tomorrow morning at 9am are -15*F with a -38* windchill....brrrrr with a high for the next few days of -5*F air temp..

I don't think those look too bad, defiantly something I would do if I was stuck with stock v6 bird wheels...

haha, ya i know the car looks ugly as hell with those rims...but it was even worse when I had them on my white trans am...lol it looked horrible, especially when they were grey.

they get me through the winter tho, so thats all that matters I guess

I just hope some idiots out there don't think I put them on there because I thought it actually looked good... maybe I should have a sign on my car that says "ugly wheels for winter only"
