Question Shift Kit?

Hey guys whats up? I was wondering if it would be to soon to install a trans go shift kit? I only have a slp air lid and bellow. please help out

Well its never to soon lol , but I would use it on the lighter side of its set up

The only thing you may want to consider is whether you plan to get a high-stall converter someday. That may affect the size of the separator plate feed holes you go with. And also, it is preferable to install the kit with the tranny out, so when you do the converter, it is a good time.

You can do the majority of work with the transmission in the vehicle. You can add the Hi-Rev spring kit to the input drum when the transmission is out while you are installing the torque converter. TransGo is releasing a new Boost valve (it is shorter than the earlier one) for their Shift kit that will work in the valve bodies of March 2005 & up GTO's. The new valve will be out in the Shift kits shortly. If you want to install the TransGo Shift kit right now, you can do one of two things, leave in the factory .472 boost valve, or you will have to machine the difference between the two boost valves. It is obvious what needs to be done here, once you have it in hand.......
