easiest way to tell is to see if it's smaller than your stock pulley. I can't remember how much they are new but I think it's around $200 or more. It's more of a freeing up horsepower mod. Definitely frees up torque as there's less drag on the motor.

Wont give you much hp gain???

You dont think a increase of 8rwhp for $140 is much of a gain?

That is a good deal on SLP pulley. I just bought mine last summer and it was right at $200 for the pulley and the bolt.

I am curious, do you see the same gain regardless of your starting point?

For instance, if you see 8-10 rwhp on a fairly stock setup, do you still see the same 8-10 rwhp on a 500 RWHP car or do you see more or less?

Have him take a picture of it with a tape measure across it then compare it to your stock one. There isnt really much to be gained with the pulley imo but it doesnt hurt.

From all the LS1 modders I've talked to, it's more of a bragging and dyno queen mod. They all agree you'll notice nothing in actual track times from it. But personally I'll still pick one up eventually. It's just nowhere near the top of my priorities list.

A pully is a well worthwile mod. ~10rwhp for $200. Probably the cheapest hp you will find.

As stated above every little bit helps and for 140.00 bucks 8-15hp is that much more then you had before!

Are these numbers you guys have from your own before/after dyno results from an accurate dyno? Or are these regurgitated manufacturer claims?

i did a b4 and after dyno b/c i wanted to see how much the 25% underdrive would actually give me. 2 rwhp. after shipping and the belts... it was over $200. so... a recap... $100 for 1 rwhp.... should have saved my money.
