Call hurst..However I do have an aftermartket Hurst and it has the bump stops. I know the factory hurst does not have them and looks cheaper. The billet shifter is probably made of billet.

Factory Hurst looks like the stock shifter and has no shift stops
The Billet Plus has a billet aluminum base anodized in gold and has adjustable Stops and spring tension.
The Comp Plus is between the other 2 I think.

I have the HURST BILLET/PLUS and it is by far the best shifter I have ever had.[had 10-15].had...5.0 and BM .... this is not too notchy,or noisy...and has a chrome lever if u wish to use it..[sits too high for me]..I am now using the stock Hurst stick -1".

Yeah, spring tension shifts and stops[which are common].
