Default Ls1 with th400

Anyone know what is needed to mate an ls1 from a 2000 corvette to a GM turbo 400 transmission. I need to know what torque converter and what not. Thank you for any help.

The easiest way is to order a conversion torque convertor that mates to the pump on
the tranny but has the longer crank snout and flexplate bolt pattern. TCI, Yank, and
a couple other companies do them.

As mentioned above all you really need is the proper TC. The transmission will bolt up to the motor, the 2 bolt holes in the oil pan will not be used and there will be an extra bolt hole in the trans case on the passenger side, but those bolts are not needed, there are a lot of guys running th350/400s in their drag cars with 5 bolts holding the trans on and I have not heard of anyone having problems.

You will have to have to have the automatic trans info deleted from the computer and do something about giving the computer a speed signal. If you have an electric speedo in your conversion this thread has info https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....8&postcount=18
