The easiest way is to order a conversion torque convertor that mates to the pump on
the tranny but has the longer crank snout and flexplate bolt pattern. TCI, Yank, and
a couple other companies do them.

As mentioned above all you really need is the proper TC. The transmission will bolt up to the motor, the 2 bolt holes in the oil pan will not be used and there will be an extra bolt hole in the trans case on the passenger side, but those bolts are not needed, there are a lot of guys running th350/400s in their drag cars with 5 bolts holding the trans on and I have not heard of anyone having problems.
