Default stock bottom end safe RPMs for new cam?

New cam says powerband from 1800-6400

can i raise rev limiter to 6400 safely on stock bottom end and automatic transmission

if not 6400 what is safest to do?

I spun my 98 to 6950. I had stock rod bolts and a fully stock bottom end. i think 6400 is safe.

I think with all the $ we invest into our motors a set of rod-bolts is a small small price to ay for peace of mind.

I spin my stock bottom end with ARP Rod Bolts to 7200, shifting at 7000rpm.

And to make you feel better, my '98 sees 6600 on the stock bolts and it's never chunked a rod or spun a bearing.

Spinning my stock bottom to 6600 for 6000 miles with no problems. Going to raise rev limiter to 6900, shift at 6800 and pray.

my stock bottom end 99 shifts at around 6700 and the rev limiter is at 7100... due to my superb traction on the street it sees 7k+ to often when i throw my k-member in im going to do rod bolts though..
