It might be useful if you indicate what tranny you're dealing with.

I can't help you with either of those. I think I've got the block off plate part number for the 4L80e, but not sure.

Most salvage yards throw the covers away, why I don't know. But I talked to several looking for the 80E cover and finally ended up ordering one from GM (and then modifying it heavily to fit my application).

Maybe somebody else can help you.

I don't know about the autos, but the stock T56 plastic covers won't help since they attached to the stock oil pan. Both of us are using Autokraft pans.

I saw in my 98 service manual that the V6 cover for the 4L60E app looks like it might work. It's flat and covers the whole area behind the oil pan. I did some hunting on gmpartsdirect.com and a couple of searches but came up empty for a part number. The number I did find is superceded but I can't find the latest. Anyone know what the good V6 cover part number is or where it can be found? Also an S10 cover should work but I couldn't find that number either.

Is there any update on this issue? I am facing the same thing with my Autokraft and t56 combo and i am sure there are more out there. I plan on this being a "fair weather" car... but if you ever get caught in bad weather i wouldnt want anything to get on the clutch

haven't done anything yet, but plan to buy some thin sheet metal from hardware store, trace out the shape of the bell housing & cut it to fit

I have a th 350 and the autokraft pan and I have no cover on it. I'd like to find one to fit.
