Exhaust to loud!!...inserts?- read my sig and you will know what im talkin about.............i was thing of buying some of the inserts from jegs to bring down the noise.......i loved the sound of my LM 1 but now since the cats are gone its to much....im not looking to spend alot of money for a new catback.......has anyone used a insert and how good do they work

I wouldn't screw with inserts, don't they go in each collector? I would sell the LM, put the stocker back on and then buy a muffler to have welded into the stock location. Oh and put a cutout on there too. IIRC it's pretty cheap to have an exhaust shop simply swap out the muffler.
