He also said the wheels WILL make production (that actual size WILL be an option), the mirrors will NOT and the rake of the convertible's windshiled will have to be changed.

He said other than that, everything (down to the shifter) is slated for production :judge:

The wheels are an option for the Holden's. I'm sure they will make their way out here.

the wheels on the G8 are off the HSV VE GTS. they are 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear... only size they are made in. they arnt an option on models...they are a HSV only wheel...but has been fitted to the G8 for the US market...as is the front bar and bonnet vents

the front end was changed for the US market... im not a huge fan.. the aussie version looks much better

I kinda like the G8. If the interior is at or better than the GTO's then its definently going to be awesome.

Apparently the IRS causes axle tramp, so burnouts and drifting arnt optimised sadly.
