Just bought an 04 black/black V with 35,000 on the clock for $28,700. Seems to be completely stock but the car is in almost perfect condition! It has a few minor things I need to have the dealer look at but I am very very happy I bought this car!

I have a question! I've seen posts that say the car is still pulling hard when it hits the 168 speed limiter. Well mine climbs up to 160 or so and when I grab 6th, I start loosing speed and have to push it back into 5th to keep it at 160. Is this normal for a stock V or should climb up to the speed limiter? Either way, I love this car and I have to keep looking out the window to make sure its still out in my driveway and not a dream or something.

Also since its still under warranty I don’t want mods that void it. How well does the Diablo sport programmer work? I can get one for 200 so even if its just a little I can take it off if I need to take it in. And does the throttle body coolant bypass actually work? Right now I'm just looking for some mods that wont void the warranty or ones that can come off easy if I need to take it in. Any suggestions

6th gear is overdrive. Try to keep your mods geared towards ones that will either result in an aesthetic improvement or a true performance gain; try and avoid doing MODs for the sake of doing them.

Also there are plenty of modifications that can be installed by your dealer/service rep. Get to know him/her very well :)

Enjoy the car!
