Default Suggestions Tax return money

Check this out. I have around $550 to spend on my car and need some input.

My mods are in my sig so you can see where I am starting.

My options are:

1.TSP True duals
2.Pacestetter Headers
3.HP Tuners
4.Professional Tune
5.Other suggestions

I eventually will get items 1, 2, and 3 or 4. I just don't know what order to get them.

My concern is that if I get HP Tuners it won't be effective without a wideband which would have to wait a while until I could afford it.

Others include smaller mods (ie lid, underdrive pulley, ect)

I would do headers, and then a professional dyno tune.

headers for sure to get the most out of that cam.....you dont exactly need a "dyno" tune...some people charge more for that, you could just go with a street tune...ie have some ride with you around with efi live and tune the car that way

Do you have a lid? I would do headers, but I think it would be easiest to do headers and true duals at the same time. It is about $800 for both, or $500 for the headers and y-pipe.

I think I am going with headers and y pipe instead of TDs becacuse of the excessive noise and droning. Also, if I did duals I would have dumped them but my exhaust guy won't do it for liability reasons.

Price was also a major factor.

do the tune...... coming from an FI guy, i love what the tune+turbo did, rediculous. i only had LT, ORY and cat back(removed for turbo) and a pulley before i went turbo. i didnt get a chance to dyno her before to find the #'s, but i would imagine it wasnt anything good. and after the turbo and tune i made 472/501...... come on, thats good. and now i make over 500 with a re-tune and new cam. and my turbo isnt nearly at it's peak...... i "should" be at 7.5 psi because thats what the wastegate spring is set to, but i have a gap in the header thats causing me to loose some psi otherwise i would be in the mid 500's....... good luck and i say go with the tune my friend
