Default stall and shift kit

I have a 95 Trans Am and I blew the trans... my buddy is comming to take it out tomorrow and then I am bringing it to a shop to have it rebuilt. Since its open... I decided to throw in a stall and shift kit... Any opinions or suggestions in regards to how high of a stall or what brand shift kit? Its stock for now so I dont want to go too high on the stall, but I plan to bolt a few things up this spring so I dont want to later regret my decision then decide to go higher.
