Default wideband help

ok so one of my buddies is parting out his 240 and he had a wideband gauge hooked up. he said i could have it if i wanted it but when someone came over and took out his cluster they just snipped the wires to it. all of the exhaust is gone so the sensor is gone now. so im left with a gauge with a few wires hanging out of the back, and i was wondering if i could just buy a new sensor and it would work again?

The important part is the hardware. It is a box a little bigger than a radar detector. Ask your buddy where he mounted it and get that. You can re-wire the gauge and I've seen sensors as low as $40.
