It's not hard at all. It's just time consuming. If you don't have an angle grinder, you can rent one at Home Depot and have the job done in a few hours. It's just a matter of grind and try to fit, grind and try until you have enough clearance. I have a set of 5/16 spacers you can have. They reduce the amount of grinding needed. I ran them up until about 4-5 months ago. Good luck!

thanks a bunch guys! but i would never attempt to do this stuff myself - I am dumb when it comes to this kind of thing and would not want to cut my teeth on a braking equipment

Put the car on jack stands, take the wheel off, grind some, put the wheel on and see where it runbs, take the wheel off, grind some more, put the wheel back on and see where it rubs.... repeat process for hours on end...... then enjoy. Its not too hard (and use spacers).

I'd much rather be the one grinding and cutting on my own car if I had to. Other people just aren't going to care as much how well it comes out.

so is there a shop that does this sort of thing? I would rather do it myself - if I knew how to. I am just not willing to have this car be my first one I am testing on - especially when it comes to the brakes!

I would do it for you but I dont have my angle grinder right now. If you wanna bring one I will help you get it done. I also have a set of spacers and some longer studs if you do need some.
