Holden Performance - Need some Holden info

Hello, I was just reading the specs on the Pontiac G8. It is rated at 362hp which I am assuming is the L98 engine from the Commodore. Does anyone know any specifics on this engine as far as which block, heads, intake it uses? Is it the same heads that are on the L92 escalade engine? All that I could find onlne was that it had 10.4:1 CR.

Me too! I wanted an '04 GTO, but my wife didn't think we needed another coupe (already have a classic vette and an 86 Monte SS), but with the G8 there's no argument.

I think you guys will be very happy with the G8. I've been to the US and experienced the build quality and stupid suspension setups that the saloons run over there. The G8 is comparable to a 5 Series. But with more power? If only you guys could experience how good the Fords are over here. And how stupid Ford US is to persist with the crown vic.
