MTI cam on stock z28 Hey guys, Im getting a mti x1 cam 230, 227, 591, 571 112 lsa and comp 918 springs on a A4 2000 z28 with, my car is stock I just got loudmouth I exhaust and k&n filter, what else do I need? (pushrods,retainers), and what's the best I can get? I dont drive it too much, its not a daily driven car.
Im also installing pacesetter ypipe and headers, 3.90 motive gear, transgo and transcooler soon

Stall for sure, p-rods and spring locks, of course some gaskets, and LS6 oil pump + LS2 chain.

Thanks, which pushrods and spring locks would you recommend me? do you think an ls2 chain would do or should i better get a double chain? to make a double chain conversion, do I only need double cam and crank gears?

I would think the LS2 timing chain would be sufficient, that is what I plan on going with after alot of research. As said before I would look into getting a TC and have it stalled around 3200-3600, to get you into your powerband.

Thanks, so which pushrods and spring locks would you recommend me? I was looking for pushrods and found different sizes and dont know which one would fit the best my car

stock size pushrods would work, they are 7.4", go for some chromoly hardened pushrods. Titanium retainers seem to be common addition when doing cam install.
