Could you just use soapy water for the lubricant when claybaring? ZaneO?Thanks.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you're using car soap and not dishwashing liquid. The dishwashing liquid will dry out the clay bar really fast.

thats what I used, car wash soap and warm water in a spray bottle, then I saved the detailing spray for in bewtween washes. It worked great IMO
