LS2/LS6 heads with my cam. Hey everybody, I had a quick question: I'm looking into buying a set of LS2 heads from a local here in San Diego. I'm a little hesitant because last time I did a head swap, I did it with 5.3L heads and I ended up not having enough valve-cylinder clearance. Long story, anyway, I don't want to have the same problems with a set of LS2 heads. I ended up putting my stock ones back on.
My cam is a little one, 222/222 with .566"/.556" lift. It was too much lift for the 5.3L heads without reliefs cut into the pistons. I'm not gonna have the same problems with the LS2 heads, am I?
