Default My new Forgeline wheels.. woot!

And look what Santa delivered.. Thought you guys would like to check 'em out.

The perimeter bolts are titanium and the other side has jet-nuts (lightweight). Supposed to knock 2-lbs off the outer edge of the wheel. The front wheels are about 25 lbs each according to UPS and are 18x9. The back wheels are about 29 lbs each and are 18x12. I would also like to comment on the excelent customer service I recieved from Forgeline. They are a first class company.

Very nice, are those painted or powdercoated, with polished lips correct? Hard to tell from the pic.

So those should be a little under 25 pounds right? Just wondering, as my front iForged 18x9s weighed out to 21.5 pounds. That lightweight bolt setup is the ****. 2lbs off the outside of the wheel! That's awesome...

What is the difference between those and the ones already on your '68? Same design, right?

Actually those are the SAME wheels.. I just sent the fronts in to be re-hooped (the benefit of a three piece wheel) for the new C5 offset. They liked the car and had me send the backs as well for some fresh powder paint on the centers.

The moron before me over-torqued the existing chrome bolts so they need to be replace. Figured I might as well go with Titanium since 1. it sounds cool and 2. weighs less.

The fronts are now 18x9 with a 6.5" backspace.
