what makes a cam fall off after peak?

Default what makes a cam fall off after peak?

trying to spec out some more cams and i have come to find a IVC of 44 will be good for me peak around 6300 but i want 6600 revlimit and 6500 shifts, how would that fall off fast after peak?

i would rather have a lil more top end the low end

i just specd this out

You probably won't notice the difference between 6300 and 6500. you're talkin 200 rpms, it can't drop that much unless you float the valves at 6350.

hua?

i want a 6500 shift point because of the oil system on the 98 blocks

There are plenty of people here that will be able to help you in this forum. After all, all of the cam threads are in this forum, right? Patrick G and Predator-Z will have plenty of info for you. I'd state what I think I know, but I'd probably be wrong, so we'll let them answer

I made 420/400 with a 224/228 110lsa LSK-lobe cam through the LS6 intake. Looking for closer to 450 this year with FAST 90 and cutout.
