Default Trans Am gauge cluster in a Camaro

Will this be a direct fit, all sensors will still work and the world will still spin? I bought a set off another member here used and want it to be upgraded to the 200 mph with silver faces from Granatelli when they come in. Once it is all said and done they will be upped with led white lights and then installed in the car. Any problems I should be expecting? I don't imagine there will be, but I don't want any nasty shocks.

No way in hell it will work, what are you smokin' Tainted ?

Trans-Am clusters have different features than Camaro clusters (rear hatch alert for one example). I maybe wrong (won't be the first time) but I highly doubt you can swap it in without it eventually starting a fire...

I've seen a few clusters go up in smoke when people tried to mix them between years and models on these cars...

You need a Camaro cluster... I think 1999+ will be fine, definetly not a 1998 for your car.

Really? Is it just a 1999 up F-body thing (as opposed to a Trans-Am thing) then? What about a low fuel light? My Trans-Am had that and my Z28's have not...

it swaps right in no problem at all. and ALL the lights still work like the should. the only diff is that instead of asr it says tcs for the traction control light. i have them in my car. even the trunk light works just make sure u get one from 99+.
