Default Bearings

I have driven the pure hell out of every Chevlolet I ever owned. Big blocks, Small blocks,305s,350s,402s,427s and I have never had one spin a bearing on me. Now in the last 6 months I have had two different engines the last being a brand new LS6 Vette crate motor spin a bearing. Whats up with these bitchs? If I have to put another short block in would I be better off to get a iron block 408? This **** is getting very old very quick.

If you are revving very high with stock rod bolts that could be part of your problem.

Both motors were built by Chevrolet.Oil pressure was running between 60 and 80 psi. I have been running Valvoline 5w-30. I always have filled until the dip stick was right. The crate motor only had 3500 miles on it when she let go. And my shift point are set a 6300. All na no turbo, no snails no NOS. At least I got a warranty with it. Go figure.

I beat the **** outta my 98 and they evidently suck as far as oiling is concerned, so far I haven't had one bit of a problem. Knock on Wood..
