Passport and Reliable are both top notch and provide covered transport.

Passport (they're a division of FedEx) shipped my WS6 from Wisconsin, and they did an outstanding job.

The guy who bought my 2000 WS6 used Dependable Auto Shippers as well and they seemed to be a good company. At dropoff there was no problem and they were very professional and he reported no problem with pick up/delivery. The shipment was Los Angeles to Deleware for what it's worth.

And depending on the vehicle (proviing it runs, is reliable, etc) I would be willing to drive it up for ya or be a navigator........made that drive more then once (3 times to be exact) and know the good places to stop/stay, etc.

Rottluver - if you want to fly down with me and help drive back I might take you up on that. Its a 2004 Silverado SS.

I did a quick quote online for a few places and they all want $1000 or more to ship. Looks like I am going to fly down and get it.

Three times? Thought it was more, I used to commute from LA to Seattle for four years. Two weeks there, drive up, two weeks here, drive back. Started literally do half that drive in my sleep

Airfare shouldn't be more than $99 one way (w/o tax of course), check Alaska and NW for fares. The drive back with two of you should only take about 16 hours tops even this time of year.

Looks like flights are about $220 for the 16th and $110 for the 23rd.

70 LS,
I am amazed it is a grand. I am having a 01 ZO6 comming from Miami, FL to San Fran, CA for $800 by dependable right now.I though about the fly and drive thing myself but 650rwhp on the midwest roads at this time of year did not sound like a good plan. Have a good trip.

They classify the Silverado SS as a large truck which jacks the price up. If it was a car, it would be about half the price.

It's only 650rwhp with your foot on the floor, not at light throttle...

Brain fart, it was 5........the drive is ok, once every few years but I wouldn't wanna make it more then once every year or so. Did it 2x in 3 weeks and felt like dying.

Silver,
I do understand the idea of light throttle. But if think for a moment before popping off there has been alot of bad weather and roads along the way recently.
