Default Power differance between XE and XE-R lobes?

I'm doing a h/c package on my '02 Z06, ordered AFR 205 milled to 63cc and 228*/232* cam with XE-R lobes-.588/.595 Just got cam and it's got XE lobes .571/.574 What kind of power differance would that make ? Thanks.

Not much of a difference at all, the XE-R lobe just has higher lift and ramps a little faster, it wont make too much of a power difference IMO, maybe a few HP.

The XER lobes will give you a more broad powerband to where the cam "comes on" earlier and "falls off" later along with higher dyno numbers. A steeper ramp rate means the valves will spend more time at higher lifts then a cam of the same specs but on a more "lazy" grind. In essence you get more useable duration.
